OOTD #1

My friends and I went back to our old elementary school on Saturday so that we could play on the playground. It was a total a blast and I feel like teenagers just don't go on playgrounds enough these days. While I was swinging and sliding I was wearing this black free people slip dress under an over sized forever 21 men's denim jacket. I covered my feet in statement socks and black ankle booties, and my neck in this black velvet choker and a black tattoo choker so that I could fit in with hip 90s witches. I also matched those with this forever 21 black lace bralette.

Knee-High and Thigh-High Socks

I LIIIIIIIIVE for this trend. Its been around for a while and I seriously hope it stays. High socks are such a fun way to keep warm and look hip.They're so wearable because compliment everything shorts, dresses, skirts, rompers whatever. It makes it so easy to make your summer clothe s winter ready and they are HEAPS more comfortable than tights way less constricting and a heck of lot cozier.

Patterned Leggings
I actually never liked this trend. Its tacky, loud, excessive, upsetting. and I am absolutely not having it. Ok maybe that was a bit much but so are printed leggings. Not only are they tacky but completely unflattering, while plain black leggings smooth everything out and pull you in, printed leggings make you look bigger and totally screw over your proportions. Don't get me wrong they are completely adorable on little girls but you should pretty much stop wearing them when you stop shopping at Justice.

Record Player Review

I bought a Crosely executive record player in black a little over a year and I am absolutely obsessed. It is so easy to use and looks cute as heck on my nightstand.The rumor that vinyl has better sound quality is completely false the sound is kinda staticy but in a totally hip way, it changes the entire vibe of the song and everything sound exceedingly more chill. My Black Veil Brides record We Stitch These Wounds and my Bring Me The Horizon Sempiternal album sound entirely different than they do on spotify it goes from making me want to mosh to making me want to lie down with eyes closed, and don't even get me started on how it escalates Lana Del Rey's vibe on Ultraviolence to just beyond. The Crosley brand is gaining in popularity everyday because more and more artists are releasing their albums on vinyl and they're super easy to get your hands on thanks to Urban Outfitters. Although they are pretty pricey as mine was $ 109.95, they are such good quality and they come they come in a million different designs that are all rad as heck and even if you're not planning on making a purchase you should still check out the way cool styles here.

IN Layered chokers and necklines

I am a massive fan of the choker revolution. I loved the black tattoo chokers when I was little and they were all the rage. I remember that my older sister had one and I thought it was so jazzy but my mom wouldn't let me wear them, but now they're back and I'M ALL GEEKED UP! I am also super into all the cool colors and charms, plus the different kinds like velvet chokers and chord chokers. It looks so gnarly when you mix and match and turns any outfit into a look. 10/10. I am also super into layering necklines, with bralettes, turtlenecks, v necks, crewnecks, tank tops and whatever else. It makes everything look like you out more effort in than you did. and putting in minimum effort with maximum result is basically the goal.

OUT Kimonos

Okay, so these were actually really cute at first but I am so over them. They are old news and do nothing for your outfit.I do not have that many negative things to say about these because as I said I was super into it and the only real issue that I have is that they have ran their course and people aren't really getting that. You won't look stupid wearing one but you could be wearing something way cooler.its just done, okay?
